Our 90 minute In-Home Design Consultation may be all that you need for inspiration and advice on your home project.  We bring samples and discuss how to put together paint colors, tiles, countertops and flooring.  We can provide ideas for window treatments, furniture, art placement, and color to establish a cohesive plan that reflects you.  Additionally, this meeting is the first step in establishing your needs, desires, and the scope of work for larger projects.

We also offer 3-hour in-home design consultation.

These Design Consultations are a flexible way to manage your home projects with the occasional guidance of a designer.  We love helping consultation-only clients with ongoing home projects!

Do you need to get “unstuck” making color decisions for your walls?  Our 90 minute Color Consultation can help!  We use LARGE painted sample boards that exemplify which colors will look great in your spaces.  We recommend that you have any artwork, fabrics, or  bedding on-hand during the consult so we can make efficient use of our time together (and get through as many rooms as possible, if that's a priority).

Our paint suggestions aren't just limited to walls!  We're happy to dish out expertise on how a new paint color can revive other areas of your home, too. From cabinetry (and how they relate to their countertops and backsplashes), to built-ins, and even tired brick fireplaces, we can help you. These rooms often tie in together and we take this all into consideration to create a harmonious home.

Do you love the look of a well-designed home but you’re not sure how to achieve it? Is your project incomplete because you don’t have a vision, or you’re intimidated by the thought of investing in products that may not work together?  Our Designer for a Day service is the solution for you.  Our 4.5 hour-hour, one-on-one, collaborative design session was created to help you design, shop, or style your space in a short amount of time.

Here are a few examples of what we could achieve in our time together:

• Hand-drawn room layout, drawings, and sketches
• Personal shopping for furniture, rugs, or accessories at local showrooms, retailers, or online
• Hands-on styling in your home
• Choosing finishes to create a harmonious kitchen or bathroom such as flooring, tile, grout, lighting, paint colors, and plumbing fixtures
• Coffee Break!
• Local travel
• Any additional notes and items added to your Pinterest board
• Prioritized checklist of action items to complete your project
• Follow-up email of reminders and recommendations from our day together

We also provide a 30-minute follow-up video call you can use within 30 days.

Designer for a Day is an invaluable experience that's fun, streamlined, and worth every penny!

This custom service is ideal for busy homeowners with neither the time nor skills to create their ideal stylish space.  We can work on one room or multiple rooms in your house at a time.  Since 90% of people cannot visualize something in a space that doesn’t yet exist, we communicate to our clients through scheduled meetings presenting you with space layout drawings, inspiration images and products boards.

We love incorporating existing antiques and sentimental items into your design, so we'd need to measure and photograph them up front.  This way, we can take them into account and incorporate them into our visual presentations.  However, keeping an item that was once trendy and clearly “not a classic” isn’t going assist in creating your dream design.  We will be honest and recommend that you part with items that will prevent your home from becoming your happy place.

We charge a flat fee for custom design plan based on the scope of work, size and type room(s), in addition to your furnishings budget.  Our design plans are created so that you have everything you need to implement on your own.
